It's a 6 pack, not a dozen. Probably the going rate for the grade of ball.

I don't buy re-claimed balls. Many of them were pulled from ponds, and it has been "proven" that water balls do lose some of their performance from sitting in water for long periods of time. There are a lot of good deals out there on-line etc that I just wait for the right deal to come along.

I agree....I have been using last years Taylor Made Reds that both Nevada Bobs and Golf Town have been selling for $29.95 over the last month. Great balls for a good price.

I don't "buy" them either. I only use reclaimed balls that I find myself. What can I say, I'm cheap

Agreed with the exception of the driver - noticeably shorter. With irons, especially pitch shots, they're like hitting gum drops - great feel. Great colder weather balls too.

Unfortunately, you can't get them anymore for that price. :(:hyper:

Totally agree. These are a great ball. It seems Wilson must take a back seat to Titleist and TM but they have great products.

I just bought a Wilson 19 degree Fybrid for about $100. It's an awesome club and as it's gay name says, it's a cross between a fairway wood and a hybrid. That said, I can spank it about 215 yds and it's hard to mishit it.

These used Pro V1 are in this weeks Cdn Tire flyer.

The Dixie/Dundas Cdn Tire has tons of them. From looking at the balls they are like grade Bs balls, you can see the hit marks, but there are no cuts and scratches. That said, for $20 for a dozen, its probably not worth it.

I will wait for the eventual clearance sale on these.

The golf clearance store @ dixi and tomken has grade a +b, mostly grade a's' prov's for $15 doz. I bought 3doz and with a online coupon they were giving away wind vest's if you bought 3 doz of any used balls, this is a knett outlet, but do not carry a huge stock. Walmart also have used pv's for $22.50 a doz,its not so painfull watching them go bye bye in to the woods:rofl:

Man that's a great deal, my buddy was buying V1's from Taboo last year and I think it worked out to being like $6-7 a ball LOL!

I like these too and find they actually have decent spin. ONly issue is the cover seems to wear more quickly than the prov for me and trust me, I am not some short game spin wizard. But they seem a bit straighter and longer so good compromise.

^^ If there is such a thing as grade A balls then these CT pro v1's I would rate as a grade D.. horrible, just went to see them, wanted to pick up a pack or two.. took a look.. opened the box.. horrible..

Why? what was wrong with them? Are they used? If new, shoudn't they be the same as any other store?

Doba

no theyre not new, not even pond balls, they looked like they've been used for 5 rounds then put back in the bag.. then sold to CT for them to sell it .. horrible .. rather but some 2 piece ball for distance ;)

Well then I see what you meant...thought these were new balls and was wondering if they were a different caliber ball for certain stores.
