I know many of you are serious golfers and this is your chance to try and be part of something fun. No I am not at all affiliated with Lionhead, nor do I have a 9 Handicap.... But the price seems right and it is a chance to see where your game is....
Lionhead Legends Course Record Pro-Am Wednesday, July 2, 2008 (1pm split tee start) Entry deadline: Monday, June 23rd at 5:00pm
Attention all golf professionals and low handicap amateurs (GAO handicap index 9.0 or lower). Lionhead is hosting the first ever competitive stroke play event on the Legends course from the back tees (7,369 yards). Professional purse will be dependant on size of pros in the field. Amateur prizes include golf membership privileges.
$125 entry includes golf, cart & dinner. Practice rounds are an additional $80/round. Low scorer(s) will have the official distinction of holding the "competitive course record", and their name(s) will appear on a commemorative plaque in the clubhouse. Event field will be limited to the first 100 eligible entries.
