they are selling the c series at $169.99 and they have been for some time, i picked up a c03 today, it is a great putter at half the price of the camerons, anyone looking for a new putter at a good deal should check these out, i am sure you can find quite a bit cheaper on ebay but i didn't want to wait and have the hassels with shipping.

i was in the nevada bob's grand opening in cambridge yesterday and i'm sure it was listed at $269, same as with fore golfers only in st thomas, i wanted a 34" c03 with the heavier head, i went to 3 golf towns today and none had them, i ended up with the 35" model, i have put 3 strips of lead tape completely covering the bottom and the weight is now good, i believe i added somewhere around 12-15 grams, it feels better then my previous mil-spec cameron which in my opinion is the best feeling production putter that cameron has ever made, if you are looking for a milled anser type head you will not find a better putter at this price - period, also if anyone knows where i can find a 34' c03h putter please let me know as i am interested in buying this as well, thanks, chris

If you find any at a Nevada Bob's tell them that golftown has them at that price and they will price match. The Nevada Bob's in Brampton has them stickered at the $169.99

I agree...one vote from me for having the above post deleted!.....oh...that would be yours:p

Golftown is not a sponsor here...and neither is nevada bobs...so if someone posts they are hard to find at gt and someone else says if you can find at a NB and get a price match that gives us fellow golfers two retail chains to chose from for the same item at the same price.....and that is bad how????
Neither puts money into TGN so mentioning another place is A-O-K with me.

I say screw Nevada Bob's - they always have crap in their stores, horrible club selection, sh*itty apparel selection, and crappy service. You know what they say - "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" The Forzani Group (sport check, sportmart ect...) owns Nevada Bobs the service levels in both stores are very comparable....

If Golf Town is already offering products at a great price, why would I even consider going to Nevada Bobs? Kudos to Golf Town for coming to the table and supplying Canadian golfers with top notch product at great prices on everything. There is no comparison.

Geez bro...I don't think GT would be thanking you for their spokesman...with such cruddy language...making blanket statements.....they....and ....always....etc....like every salesperson in every store...in every city...is.....My mother always taught me, earn respect thru what you do...not by putting others down.
This is not a gt vs nb thread, which always seems to rear its ugly head. Guy posts great deals on a putter at gt.
someone else says it is hard to find the model he wants at gt.
someone else says if you can find it at nb then they will price match and all are happy.
Take your negative comments elsewhere. World would be a boring place if we were all told to wear blue shirts, play nothing but callaway and buy nowhere but gt. Each survives based on their own little differences. IF gt were the only place in biz tomorrow....you actually think they would give good pricing...would kinda be like the oil companies..nowhere else to turn for a deal.

And why should my post be deleted????? must be a brampton vs port credit thing:confused::D

I agree. I just get tired that every time someone posts a deal at nevada bobs or golf town there is a debate........
there is inevitably someone who puts down golf town says their staff suck, their pro shop cannot do proper repairs and will kill your equipment etc.....

...inevitably someone puts down nevada bobs...their selection etc.

I think that the selection at nbobs is not as thorough as golf towns but it does not make it a non viable alternative if a deal cannot be found at gt but can at nb. Plus the new nb i saw in burlington was actually pretty close to a gt with way more selection on equipment and clothing than the typical store.
I will still agree though that gt is overall better in that department.

I just do not know why when we all want deals, if someone posts a deal at one place and some say they cannot find a particular model in that sale, then someone else says hey you can get a price match at NB, why does it always desolve into a debate.
IF i can find the equipment i want, at a price I want, with exact model, i could care less which outlet it comes from. peace.

I agree shark, Sure NB doesn't have the same selection but that is like comparing a Wal-mart to a smaller specialty shop, of course the Wal-Mart will have more selection. And you are right, the newer NB's are becoming larger with a much wider selection of everything.
