Hey my fellow TGN'ers
We are once again hosting a fundraiser and benefit concert for Erinoak Kids (http://www.erinoak.org/). This year’s event will be at the Moonshine Café (http://www.themoonshinecafe.com/) in Oakville on Friday, September 19th @ 8 p.m.
Last year we raised over $3000 for the Erinoak cause.
Here is an excerpt from their website, which explains their role far better than I can:
ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development is the largest of the 19 Children's Treatment Centres in Ontario - we help approximately 9,000 children and their families each year. The children face a range of physical and developmental disabilities. Some have communications challenges. Some have multiple and complex disabilities. We help them overcome their challenges where they can, and cope with them no matter what.
Our goals are to help every kid reach his or her best possible level of independence, health and well-being, and also to help the child's family as they cope with the special needs of their child. We help kids to be the best they can be.
Tickets are $50 per person. ALL proceeds raised (with the exception of the bar) will be donated to Erinoak Kids.
John Marlatt at the Moonshine has once again allowed us the use of his cool venue at no cost.
The venue holds less than 60 people. We will sell out. Contact me now (http://www.jamesjones.ca/contact.html).
Live music, and a great cause. Please be a part of this wonderful night. Last year was a blast!
