I went to the GT at Woodbridge and picked up a R7 Ti 5 wood yesterday. They're getting rid of old inventory to make room for the new stuff, since the R7 is three generations old. I played with both the ST and the Ti. I was hitting the Ti 10 yards further than the ST (255yrds) off the ground. the Ti is $25 more expensive with a slightly larger face, the only drawback the salesman told me is that the Ti might be a little harder to hit out of thick rough.

I've been playing the R7 Ti for a couple of years and its the best 3 wood I have ever hit. The ball just jumps off the face and it feels so solid.

Sales everwhere on great equipment. Must be the hard times out there...golf courses are also suffering this year. People have really cut back on golf, and equipment.

So i went to GT scarb today looking for the R7 ti 3 wood and non was to be found so the dude who worked there called around and appartently all lefty 3 ti's are gone in toronto. so instead he gave me the r7 TP model 3 wood for the same price as the ti. So point being if you are a lefty in need of the ti, try this location and hopefully you will get lucky and have that guy offer you the same deal.
