Am playing this course on Wednesday...has anyone played it and what can I expect?

It is a great golf course, located at Okotoks, AB. My wife and I have family that lives there and have played the course a few times. Stay out of the prairie grass (rough) and it plays well. It is a fair, but long, course, if you are hitting the ball straight. Regular dress code, no blue jeans. Nice 19th hole. Enjoy your round.

Real nice track, played it around 5 years ago. You will enjoy it.
Once you are out there, make the trip to Kananaskis......

Thanks guys...only able to play one course on this business trip...have played both Kananaskis courses previously.

Having just moved here a year ago from Calgary, I have played it a number of times. Definite cart course unless you like a cardiovascular workout with your golf. If you are not fairly straight, will be a challenge. A few interesting hole.....eg. a big downhill par 3 over water, with junk behind. Several holes blind, so helps if you play with someone who has been there before. Overall, I like the course.

Next time you are in the Okotoks area; try River's Edge at the other side of town. Great views and a tougher course than the scorecard indicates.
