Went last year and it was great, picked up a lot of stuff and got a lot of great deals!

Cash only though from what I remember...anyone else care to chime in?

Product that may be mislabeled, has been rejected by quality control, etc. Still very wearable but not perfect.

I love Dunning shirts. This may be my favorite/most important thread that I've ever read.
Thanks for the posting. I knew Dunning was in Markham. Didn't realize that it was only 5 minutes from my house!!!!

I wonder if they will only have XL's like they did last year (so was the rumour).

I would hate to go and not be able to find anything in a S or M.

Let me assure you - it was not only XL's last year. I wear L for Dunning, and there was plenty of choice. Wasn't the latest & greatest colors/styles, but for adding to the basic wardrobe, it was solid...

A very nice TGNer (iyell4) picked me up a powder blue mock dry fit last year and it still remains my favorite Dunning. I'm hoping this year I'll make the trip up.

Nutsngum if you can you should delete the thread and re post after day 1 of the sale

Everyone who has read should keep quiet better options for us selfish types

Thanks for posting

BTW went to Kings forrest on the weekend and was nice. Had not been there for 4 years and I know why. The course is great, short par 5's are to be had but the drive on he QEW is truly a nightmare. 2 hrs from Toronto

My kind of course, tree lined where you cant just blast anthing you want like the new style links courses. I really enjoy old school tree lined courses like this, Westview, King Valley (when my Bro pays) ect. With all the rain the courses this year are in great shape and have not turned into rockyards as of yet

I was there last year..........let me tell you about my purchase......I picked up a discontinued rain pant ( as most of you know or have purchased one, it isn't cheap ) for $5.00. I triple checked it for stains, rips or holes and nothing was found. Great deals!!

I personally cannot see the deals as good for the $5 bin...the stuff in there were YEARS old from seasons past...plus some current gear that had some flaws....that MUST have been cleared out from their inventories..

the stuff inside was $20 and that was a good deal for new old stock or samples (1 season back)

Are you referring to my comments above?

If so you may be just a little too sensitive about nothing.

Would be great if it was open just for me for 2 weeks but I think not.

"Great comment" What are you talking about?

Maybe I should call up there and ask them to have first 2 weeks open for me only.

Hope ypu geel better now.

I've read it twice and can pretty well confirm this was not aimed at you personally. There was at least three others that made similar comments. I do agree it would be nice to get a confirmation on the date being moved as I will be making a 2 hour drive to attend.

Cotton is for men who like to sweat and have their shirt soak it up!

Nothing wrong with the moisture wicking/breathable materials!!! I took care of the company order this year, and 100% of them were of this variety - big hit. :)

I bought quite a few of these types of shirts last year including the Dunning.
The pro is it never wrinkles and holds the colour. But they just dont feel riqht!!

They do feel different but you get used to it. A LOT cooler on the hot muggy days. I'll wear a black shirt of this material over a beige/light one that is all cotton on a hot sunny day.

Just me though - not for everyone clearly! :)

Gerry,
I didn't find any XXL in the Cheap bins ($10) but there was a fair selection in the boxes inside ($25). In general there were lots of Large sizes. Deal of the day is the Rain jackets and pants $25 each.

That being said it was a bit of a mad house. See pics

Not sure the selection makes it that great a sale. I just bot a hat for $5. Having said that, lots of people are buying 3-5 items.

I wud think that most avid golfers already have everything here, except for updating some stuff like, rain gear. Neon green and orange mens polyester (sorry "moisture wicking") shirts in abundance. Hot pink and a little more subtle pink inside for the ladies ($25).

Was just there and agree with all the above posts. I'm a XXL and only found one long sleeve undershirt in the $10 bins but just as I was leaving found a perfect fitting pair of black golf pants. Tried em on when I got home and they fit like a glove. Also got a drifit visor for $5.

If you wear xxl they have selection but only in the $25 inside shirts.

Happy hunting!

With regard to the L and XL sizes, I would definitely suggest checking them individually...I noticed today that different styles of their shirts definitely "fit" differently. I got a "M" in one style that fits slightly bigger than an "L" in another.

That being said, there were plenty of shirts there if that's your size and for $10 a pop how can anyone think they are not great value. Even inside at the $25 a go range, I got 8 different short and long sleeve tops (the thicker outerwear kind), where else are you going to find that value?

last year, the stuff in the bins were 1-5 seasons old and were $5, this year the bins were $10 but the shirts I got were less than 1 season old.

The inside stuff was $25 vs $20 last year.

Last year, it was the golf clothing sale of a century. This year, it was a VERY solid sale and worth it.

next year, if they add another $5 then I'd drop my enthusiasm a bit more, but at these prices, it's the best sale on the calendar for clothing. especially the rain gear

I asked almost the same question.... "What happens when I get home, open the package and the shirt has a giant rat a$$ hole in it? Do I need a receipt?"
The girl says...."I don't have receipts, just bring it back and see me."

I have to admit, it felt kind of strange walking to my car....hmmmm....Is this place legit?..... Is that a real cop at the door?.....No tax?...Cash deal?...Have they just "taken" the place for the day?
