It's not as long a course (only 6100 yds from the tips) as I prefer to play but for the price and overall condition, it's worth it.
The course isn't exactly difficult if you can keep the ball in the fairway.
But roam just a yard or two outside of it and you may as well kiss your ball goodbye. The fescue is that thick and deep.
Greens are all in nice shape, no brown spots but they were a bit slow for my liking.
No clubhouse, just a trailer set up to serve as a proshop with basic snacks and only frozen sandwiches.
There is some potential there for those looking for a half decent track with lower end prices.
For a course that just opened, it's worth playing again this season and then in the spring to see how well it progresses.
Signature hole there is the 3rd, a par 3 with an island green which when played from the tips can be rather interesting.
The best holes there in my opinion though were the 17th and 18th.
17 is a long par 3, 213 yards from an elevated tee over a gully to a rather small green with a pond waiting all along the right side of it.
There's not exactly any room to bail out left either.
18 is a par 4 with another 200 yard carry to reach the fairway. Anything left is toast. It's actually a picturesque hole from the tips.
