I am helping to organize a small tournament(40 players) for our department. We have a mix of golfers and non-golfers. We are thinking of Castlemore as it is less than $50 weekday. Anybody have any opinions on this course or suggestions for a course in the price range near Toronto(or Oakville, Mississauga).

Since they built up the subdivision around the course, the back nine have become rather forgetable. Some holes you literally playing in people's backyards. If you don't mind that, it is a decent choice for the price range. Good luck....

Unfortunately, golfnut, Richview is no more. It has become yet another subdivision. Too bad, I liked that course a lot.

I played at Saw Whet last year in an informal tournament.

I was better than I thought it would be (from what you can see from the road) and is decent enough for good golfers and easy enough for beginners.
