Was advised of the site by another member, so far it looks GREAT! So many nuts close by, who, like myself, are totally obsessed with the game. I work in the industry as a part timer pro shop employee, still going to university, 3 time mens club champ, equipment junkie/ho.....what else can I say?

I'm also a new guy around here, and have to agree that there seems to be a great community here.
I'm sure many Torontonians travel to areas close to all you guys just for golf, no increase in gas price is gonna stop any golf nut!!!

Considering the populations of Paris and Brooklin, it seems we have a disproportionate amount of members who don't put the "T" in TGN!!:p
btw, 416 rules!, except that we don't have room for affordable golf courses!!!:$

Hey Ticky,
London has a lot of great courses. I had the pleasure to play Forest City National and Westhaven a few years back and long to go back there.
Welcome

WelcomeI'd also have to say that River Road is a better than average muni track as well... at least it was in '98. (the last time I played it)

There are several VERY nice courses in the area..... Forest City was rated 4.5 stars by golf digest and it's only $45-60 WITH CART, was in good condition when I played earlier this year.

It's been pretty good....made some changes to the structures and cart paths...no course changes though....greens are coming back after a struggle with some kind of fungus, they're rolling the best I've seen in quite some time.
