Closest to the the pin on a par 3 will determine any carry over skins
Tee times start at 11:30 and are 10 mins a part.

My swing is in shambles right now (can't hit a drive/long iron to save my life), and although I am working hard on it, I can't guarantee that I would be under 100 for 18 holes. Believe me, having played with a number of the guys that will be attending, I know that no one will put any pressure on you or make you feel like you're out of place. Even though there is enough talent to make the better players know that it's not going to be a walk in the park, everyone understands that it is a fun day out. Whatever side bets go on, are just between those that want to partake. The whole idea is to meet other golfers and enjoy a course that many wouldn't be playing without a gathering such as this.

I've golfed with plenty of guys that shoot a 10, but somehow end up with a bogey when it comes to marking the scorecard.

It's my first time golfing with him and I'm impressed with his ability and his honesty. He knows the game and plays it as the rules say you should. Also, as a side note, the hole was playing a ton closer to 250 as we had wind and played from the tips. I hit 3 wood solid into the face of the green. For those that haven't played this hole, it's an elevated green and will separate the men from the boys. It's all carry to put it on the green. Scott's shot was pure crap and had no chance of getting there, but that's just the way it goes. Golf at it's most humbling.

One of the most fun guys I've golfed with and definitely a guy I'd ask to have as a partner in a money game.

Thanks for the kind words, especially for putting into perspective that my shot was pure crap, which it was! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: For those that click the thumbnail, I successfully made it past the ladies tees, so petey stayed in the pants until he got home for a scrubbing. I actually made it to the 89 yard mark, so it wasn't a tough pitch from there, but was still a hard thing to swallow. Nobody is proud of a nine, unless it's what you carry in yer pants :D

Al, you and I are going to tee it up next game my friend. You've also got some good game, one of the best bunkers players I've seen in a while and that is a compliment my friend. And players, watch out....this boy can flat out roll the flat stick like money. I think you and I would be a tough pair to beat in a match. (GRT, Swaain......up for an @ss whoopin'?)

Playing with RR was a complete hoot. This guy, for those that haven't met or played with him, is one of the FUNIEST characters and straight up, in your face honest guys. For someone who has only taken up the game within the past three years, shows excellent potential and takes his game very seriously. These are the types of people I look forward to playing with and can't wait for this Saturday......

As for the course....welll.......its the worst conditioned course I have played this year...by far.....the fairways were pretty rough...took a chunk out of my wedge....rock buried in the middle of the fairway.....the greens were atrocious...there was more dirt than green.....

I had a blast even though I shot what could be my worst game of golf since my first time out ever:hush: I would also like to thank my foresome (for putting up with my game :help: ). Great group of guys who like my just enjoy the game and can look pass some of the "more interesting" shots. Sorry I bailed on you guys for the 'Bonus" holes but I figured I had better play with the guys I got a ride with.

Can't wait for the next outing.

What can I say. Man you did a bang up job putting this together. Yeah the course needs some time. But those folks treated us like royalty. Someone told me that this was the first event the course had hosted that they didn't have to do any of the work. Did I say they treated us like royalty.

i checked out the website .. one thing that tipped me off is the photo gallery.
they have 25 pics there ... 16 are PGA tour pix of LJD! ... 9 are pix of the actual course (1 of it under construction, 2 of them exihibiting a putting green with a nice burnt brown/grey ring serving as the fringe) :)

Oh well....I'm sympathise with you here bro, I think I take top honors after hitting four rocks off the club face, one of them being on a tee box about the size of a billiard ball.....but no matter how bad it was or even if you didn't think ya won a skin, it would have been nice for you to stick around to share the story with us and make us all laugh a little more. There were some great players out there that struggled with the way the course was conditioned, so you aren't alone in the department of not being fully %100 pleased with the golf course. RR did an awesome job of organizing this, and actually getting 24 guys out for a round of golf is awesome in my books.

Hope you can make it out to the next event GB, but stick around no matter what the outcome....this way I get the chance to put an ugly face to that name of yer's and pick on you, all in the name of good fun. :D :D :D

Looks like it could be a decent track, it just needs some more time to fill in. Upon further inspection, I also noticed a small gouge out of my lob wedge.:nono:
