Ever notice how you have no idea on Monday what you were working on at work last Friday?

But a round of golf from 5 years ago ........... no problem, I can remember every shot AND what I was thinking at the time.
Especially if it was a particularily good track or a great round / tournament every detail comes to the forefront.

Obviously some things are just more important. :D

Memory,

Mine just plain sucks. I cannot remember anything unless I write it down. Names, forget it, appointments, nope.

What was this post about again?

So, you remember, with vivid clarity, topping Swaaain's hybrid??? :D

Sorry - couldn't resist!

Work for me is so hectic, that if I don't write it down or put it in the calendar, I won't remember.

Actually, what was this thread about????

Thanks Albert.

I distinctly remember hitting it EXTREMELY thin, but NOT topping it. There was no ball mark in front of my tee, thankyou VERY much.

Sheesh, with friends like this ................... you know.

I see in your pic Jeff was caddying for you. So? Just blame him for giving you the wrong club.

Remember dude, it's never the player's fault. :p

Good point Haribo!

I can't fire him yet though. I still need him to reshaft my driver and 3wood.

THEN I can fire him.

Who did you say you were again?

I do find it much easier to remember the holes on course I played once, three years ago that what I did at work this morning, which are much easier to remember than any of the bad shots I've hit ;) Selective memory, I guess.

AlbertAnd to think GRT never placed this in the "Most Embarrassing Golf Moments" Thread... It sounds alittle :$ing ... to me...

...I could just see it now... He meets a bunch of new guys on TGN - Plays golf with them for the 1st time... Says he can bend the Hybrid on a dime like his 3WD (paraphrasing here o'course)... and then tops it...

If my memory serves me correctly?? I think it was the 3WD he bends so well? :D

...I'm sure there were a few smiles in that 4-some after that shot... ...

I can remember every shot from my round, but I also go S**TBRAIN when it comes to remembering playing partners names.......A couple tips I've picked up along the way is to sneak a peak at their scorecards if they are riding.....If the're walking, think of an excuse to look at their scorecard like.....................................hum, that one's a little tougher.

I remember an episode of the show "Everybody loves Raymond". They had an argument and was doing counselling. The person ask the wife what had happened and wife goes, we had an argument that day because Ray went golfing and (forgot what else). The counselor turns to Ray and asks if he remembers. Ray goes, sure I do......... I shot 89!!!!!

Was the funniest thing I ever seen! :D

What I do is keep a score card as well, but I write down their names and what colour shirt they are wearing. I am the worst with remmebering names, so this is what I have to do. It is bad at work, I am glad we have to wear name tags or I would forget half the kids names that work outside.
