hmm that's a pretty far drive for me though all the way in Oakville. I would want to check it out but what are the odds that they will have women's clubs or other gear. Has anyone ever been to this sale before?

I have never been to this sale before, but I am going tomorrow. I am a Clublink member and the sale starts tomorrow at 1000 hrs. for Clublink members, for two days before it is open to the public. I am allowed to bring guests, how many, I don't know. I would think 1 or 2, not 10 or 12. I can't say what they will have, but my understanding of the sale is that all merchandise from ALL Clublink courses that didn't sell during the year, gets sent to Glen Abbey for this sale. I would say that there is a very good chance that they will have womens gear. There is suppose to be clothing, shoes, hats and clubs.

I know I am new here, but if anyone is interested in going to this sale tomorrow, let me know. I am hoping to be there around 0930 hrs. to line up, as I hear that it will be pretty busy tomorrow.

Seeing how Ont. is about a 28 hour drive for me and the fact I just spent 275US for a ZR suit, vest and hat. I might have to pass. Does Glen Abbey have a link for the sale? Might be able to squeeze a little more out of the better half, maybe for a christmas present.

I don't know of any link for the sale. The only thing that I have seen is the first post in this thread, with different dates. This is what was sent out to Clublink members via email.

If I find anything I will keep all posted.

Well, for me, the sale was a dissapointment. Actually, I didn't buy anything.

They had mens and ladies clothing at 50% off and one rack of ugly shirts for 70% off. I think the cheapest shirt I seen was $60.00 minus 50%. Not too bad, $30.00 for a golf shirt, but I didn't like any of the styles for me.

They also had golf shoes, I think just Callaway, not sure, for 50% off and individual clubs ( putters, wedges, fairway woods and drivers ) and sets of irons for 35% off. Unfortunately, I was looking at a set of PING G2 irons and the sale price was over $900.00. I think these irons sell for $1,049.00 at Golf Town. They also had a combo set of G2/S59 irons, which is what I would prefer over the G2's. They were used and they wanted $900.00.

Anyway, for me it was a waste of time and gas.

Good luck to anyone who decides to go after Sunday.
