I was reading one of those bathroom readers on the jon and came up upon a story featuring Vijah Singh. Did you know that he was a bouncer some 10 yrs ago, trying to make ends meat to feed his family! Back in the 80's he got kicked off the asian tour for allegedly cheating. He didnt' make the cut to join the British Tour. It was only the past 2 yrs where he really started to shine and start winning.

Shania Twain When her mother and adoptive father died in a car crash on November 1 1987, Eileen ("Shania") Twain took her two younger brothers, Mark and Darryl and sister Carrie-Ann to lived in Huntsville, ON. She sang in a piano-lounge act @ Deerhurst resort to make ends meet as the sole source of income. Her family lived in a house without running water ... she, sis and little brothers had to bathe in a nearby stream:(

You say "perve" like I should take it as an insult.. 12 is bad, yes, but Shania now bathing in a stream, cool :D

If I recall correctly, I think Shania was 12 to 14 when she sang on the Tommy Hunter show, and her parents were still alive. I think the accident happened when she was more of a senior in high school, but I could be wrong. If so, tjhayko isn't the big perve ... LOL! Nevertheless, its incredible her drive to care for the family and rocket to stardom at such a young age.
