I'm thinking of playing their next week. They have a package deal 2 rounds, one night accomodation, and dinner for $120.00. Does anyone have any feedback?

Golferboy is correct, I have been there the past 3 years on the weekend package. There are 2 courses, Timber Ridge and Meadows Nest. Both are good but different. Timber Ridge is more open then Meadows Nest with the exception of a couple of holes. The greens are usually moderately quick, fairways are most often in very good condition and the staff is very receptive.

Meadows Nest is the tougher of the 2 courses, longer with more trees, lots of trouble if you hit it off line, I oughta know. I guess that is why Timber Ridge suits my game better. Pace of play is approx. 4.5 hours at least it was on my first 2 visits. This year, we were unfortunately, behind a small tournament on both days, same guys which had 4 foursomes and they insisted on playing from the tips, that was just wrong since some of the guys could not hit the ball well at all. Our second round took 5.5 hours and we waited on every shot.

If you are staying at the Highwayman Inn, which is where we stay always, be sure to check out McCabes Restaurant which is attached to hotel, they have some good food which is reasonably priced.

I went this summer as well. Great deal. Stay at Highwayman if you can. Rooms are clean and according to my friend who has stayed at all the hotel options, the Highwayman is by far the best.

Both courses are good and well kept. I will definitely go back next year.
