looks like Mr. Milestones has moved over to the console arena.....hl2 didn't get as great a review...still good tho...9.1/10 while Halo 2 got 9.4/10.....definitely both games are lacking in some departments especially with all the hype built for both.....I didn't hear about any 12am releases for hl2.....unless there were 12am downloads instead...

yah HL2 definitely didn't have much buildup hype for it's release. Actually from what i heard there were download phases where you download part of the game every few months haha...and then you download the last piece the final night to play the game.

Yeah there were download phases. Actually the final download phase was a while ago. After you've finished downloading you just had to wait until the activation date to put in your activation code or whatever. I can imagine all those hardcore hl geeks sitting there at 11:59pm ready and waiting to hit the enter key. heehee ;)

we played halo2 a few times on xbl .......I hate the time limits and the motion trackers in the game.....that's just my opinion.....I played as a guest on a friend's xbox and we were only allowed to play in the training grounds...so dry.....

Finally played halo2 at my friend's place. We played multiplayer lan game. Isn't playing on xblive the same as playing a lan game?

The lan game in halo2 seems pretty much the save as in halo1. Didn't notice anything too different. The dual weapons confused me quite a bit. I keep on forgetting which botton picks up a weapon, which one adds a weopon to my other hand, and which button switches weapons. I personnaly wish they left it the way it was in the first halo.

You start playing single player campaign yet? I'm looking forward to that.

finished campaign in normal mode already.....working now on the Heroic level...:) ...we only played xbl a couple times one night, I still think LAN games are more fun....also, on xbl, it's pretty restrictive...I can play as a guest on my friend's xbl acct, but I can only access some stupid training ground, and I can't configure any of the game settings.....definitely not the same....I think I need to purchase an xbl acct to get the full settings....

i think you can register under your friend's account also, you need to ask your friend about their xbox live account.

to play in the rank games and custom games, u need to have ur own xbl acct.......trust me on this......Bungie and Microsoft want to make money.....however, u can have multiple accts on one xbox
