Highland Gate - price increase

i know there are PRO ClubLink guys and NEGATIVE ClubLink opinions here

but this is a heads up (advertising?) for those on the fence for joining...

the best value for joining (Highland Gate) is going up in price (initiation) at the end of the month. Not a lot when you have to factor in the annuals but still a significant chunk of change none the less.

this is not a debate...we've done that lots of times here...but for those who have been thinking, highland gate gets you into the network.

I don't think I need to start a thread for King Valley going to 85K :confused:

How far is Highland Gate from Downtown Toronto?

I can usually get to Station Creek/Diamond Back/Highland/Kings Riding by 7pm if I leave downtown at 6pm on MOST days in the summer

next year we get a closer course at Board of Trade too at 400/7

Played the last three weekends Highland Gate as a guest. If I had the money to spare on my hobby right now (have some other more important big spendings coming up) I'd join HG now. The increase is from $6500 to $9500.

conditions haven't been that great of late...they were quite good earlier in the year...but still a decent track...

and if you don't like it..play the other courses.

Focal...how strict is clublink about the 50% play at your home course rule?

that's for out of town courses...

besides, you'll play at your home course cause it's the easiest to get morning golf

even though I'm not a member at HG I still play it...cheapest to bring in guests also

D, I'm just not thinking straight this afternoon....if I join Highland Gates, I have to play 50% of my golf there correct?

I'm seriously considering joining HG or BoT. Does golf members have special booking priviliges at away (platinum courses) before Silver member aside from Green fees?
