I'll play a round every weekend, and if I'm lucky, get a chance to go practice at the range once a week as well.

Pratice area and range for at least one hour every day that I don't play. All this get ruled out if the weather is just plain nasty.

I'm with Milestones on this one. Next season I will only be playing max 2 times a month. I think I can do it. It helps if I can go to a golf range and freely use their facilities for just chipping or putting practice. This past golf season I played so much that I'm a pauper now! haha I definitely need to budget for Golf!

Play once or twice during the week and both days on the weekend. So 3-4 times a week is good for me. Total of rounds so far this year is 87 (most in one year was 107 in 2001) but hope to get in few last rounds before the snow hits the ground.:hush:

Sometimes the golf business can be very demanding, but it's a GREAT "demanding"! A friend of mine works at Angus Glen and you'd think he would play all the time, he got something like 5 rounds in.

I'm prolly the most delinquent of all you guys... once a month, sometimes twice a month... new years resolution, go to the range at least twice a month and play at least twice a month during the golf season

Only played about 20 rounds this year, which isn't great considering I worked part-time at a golf course.

Wow noback... 87 rounds! Were any of those rounds Free? You must have a HUGE budget to spend on golf. I think I would golf everyday in the summer if I could afford it. Too bad for me my 2 favorite past-times (Golf and Shopping) both take a huge chunk out of my savings.

I must have had a half dozen or so free rounds, but with playing on the our club at reduced green fees, I've spent about $2000 (worked out to just over $22 a round) on golf at about 24 different courses throughtout the city and threreabouts.:D I wish I could play more but I also have to work sometime.

Divide all the holes that I played by 18, and I played the equivalent of 123 games.

Tournament rounds were way up this year as I added the local Ottawa Citizen tournament, the Canadian Seniors Championship in Brantford, and a few other invitationals to the mix.

Used to play every day; now I just play all the time. :)

You count the holes you played and not in number of rounds ?

You count the holes you played and not in number of rounds ?

Most of the above consists of 18 hole rounds at my home club and in tournaments, however, on those occasions that I play 9 or 12 holes or a whole bunch of balls on 18 holes, I just record the number of holes that were played as "extra.".

As I live 2 minutes from the golf course, I will occasionally sneak over and play a few holes when my wife is cutting the grass or doing the dishes. :)

This afternoon for example, was gorgeous in Ottawa so I hit two to 7 balls on every hole with a 6 iron and putted left handed with the back of the head of the blade iron. I counted this as an "extra" 18 holes. No-one ahead of me and no-one behind me. Lifetime memberships have their privileges. ;)

I golfed over 100 rounds this year. I usually golf two rounds on Friday, one on Sat. and one on Sun. I had 8 weeks vacation this year and didn't go anywhere, so I made long weekends out of my vacation and golfed.

Having a membership has its benefits. I want to make sure that I get my moneys worth.

I haven't given up on the season in Toronto yet. I have two rounds booked for next weekend....weather permitting.

Hmmm...probably around 40 rounds, not counting the partial rounds I play for free with my CPGA pro friend.

Would love to get out more, but damn is this sport expensive. I guess 40 is pretty fortunate though...

I wear a regular golf glove on my left hand and a winter golf glove on my right hand, but take it off when I swing the club. Actually, Sunday wasn't too bad, other than the wind.
