Does golf shoes make a difference? Right now when I play, I don't have golf shoes yet, and I have a few friends that don't play with golf shoes. Does golf shoes make a difference? Will I lower my stroke count if I am wearing golf shoes? :D

It makes a difference for me. I noticed that my feet no longer slip when it's wet and I don't lose my balance. It doesn't even have to be raining. If you play early morning there is dew on the ground and makes it slippery.

Hmm I doubt that it gives him more feel. I think it's just a TV gimmick. So people will remember him as the player with barefeet. I agree he's :cookoo:

anyways, golf shoes do make a difference.....not just because of the spikes so that you can maintain your balance, but the actual sole and shoe itself.....waterproof shoes make such a huge difference in comfortability compared to normal shoes.....it's just not the same at all.....
