As you all no we played Thundering waters this past weekend and a good time was had by all who attended.So I would like to do it 1 more time this year at Copetownwoods.I have played this course and its a great track with no rocks on the tees or fairways.So for those of you who were with us will have 1st dibs for this event.

The rate is $70 green fees,cart and range
It will be the same format as played at Thundering Waters
Blue Tee's
No strokes
putt everything, no gimmies
count all the strokes
Closest to the the pin on a par 3 will determine any carry over skins
Tee times start at 11:00
Please PM me ASAP to make sure you get a spot there is room for only 24 guys.This will be the last Event this year so I hope to have a good turn out and of course a great time

Played the course today. It's in fantastic shape. Fairways were aerified but the greens were perfect. Even with the dew on it, it was rolling really good. Should be good for you guys.

No, it's for buyers (golf courses, golf stores etc) to view the new products and make booking orders for the following season. I have been to the last 4 sonce we have opened, and you can not buy anything, but I have learned that you can and have to "haggle" the price with them!

Nah, this is just what it's like if you were to move to one of those retirement communities in Florida - everyone is asleep by 6 and they won't walk a golf course no matter what.

With the predicted rain ( :hush: ), it'll be interesting because I think if it's as much rain as that little picture on the weather network represents, I think Copetown will be pullin' all their rides :eek:

Maybe not, but 6C + rain = lucky to see anyone there (I'll be there - short of a snow storm). :nono:

If it wasn't for the rain they are predicting, I'd walk with you guys. But for $70 including cart, even if you guys walk, sounds like you'll still be paying close to $60 anyway so you guys might as well just take the carts and stay as dry as you can. :)

No, it's not raining yet. I'm at the office right now and it was ok when I arrived (4am), but it's windy now (went out to car about an hour ago). The sky is definitely overcast and ominous.

I've got a server that lost a drive so I'm dealing with that right now, but should be on time. Go figure, I was planning on coming in today, but for 7 - nice to get a 3am wake up call though :mad:

Shoes are all waterproofed since i've had time to watch the drive rebuild :rofl: so I'm good to go.

Sectionthirtyone is coming to my place at 9:30 and then we're on our way.

No rain as of 8:06 in Guelph - she's windy and cold, but that's it so far.

Just got in from Copetown and wanted to say thanks to the guys in my group (Luke and Rob), Rocknronny, Copetownwoods and everyone else for a great day.

Luckily, the rain held off for the entire round (for my group at least... first off = 3 hours 45 minutes) and it was a great time. Golferboy (Rob) and Lucky69 (Luke), thanks for a terrific afternoon. You guys are awesome golf partners and any time you want to tee it up, let me know (just remember that I have honours, Rob :rofl: )

Gorilla????????????????? More like King Kong holy crap can you ever drag those knuckles on the ground. Now for all of those out there that talk about guys waiting to hit while guys are on the green have never golfed with Gorilla before. I had a great time on Saturday dispite the weather. That was one of the most torturous experiences ever. By the third hole I couldn't feel my fingers and was ready to go back inside. Yet we stuck it out. However I was more than impressed with the course and can't wait for next season so I can go back with friends when the weather is nicer. Thanks for the great company, the good laughs and the hospitality.
