Keep the ball below the hole if you can.
It's ussually like putting on the hood of your car there!

TIP - Hit it straight, chase it and hit it again till it goes in the hole. Add up the strokes and pray its a handicapped tourny. :eek: :rofl: :rofl:




Either that or shine your new putter in their eyes and kick it in when they're blinded from the reflection from the sun. :rolleyes:

Try using custom golf balls that say "You suck more than Frank". I hear they are great for fast greens!Lol

The only tip I can suggest after numerous attempts at a two putt on any of the greens......drink more beer....The course itself is not tough, but the greens are pretty severe......Any tips??? Playing in a tourny on saturday.

Just played Cherry Downs today. I got off before the tournament and I have to say I think the course is great. Other than the par 5's being short I absolutley loved the course (Even though I played absolutley horrible). I think the course is really pretty and plays really well. The only problem I have is that I felt the greens were bad. They weren't very smooth I had alot of troubles getting putts to go in the hole. I would start them on the right line but they would always go offline cuz of bumps. They reminded me alot of Don Valley's greens. They have that kind of texture. It was almost like the grass would grab your ball as it was rolling. I donno maybe it was just me. I can't wait until the next time I play tho, especially if I'm playing better!

I have to agree with you Frank this is a nice track.Mike and Nick in the pro shop helped out and were great.But next time I will pack a lunch as it was club link so it was $30 around of beers and $8 sandwichs:eek: .And just realized I pulled a Farmboy and lost my 6 iron at the course.It just so happends that I will be going right by there today and can pick it up..:$
