I am talking about the seductive prime-time "Desperate Housewives" promo. that aired before "Monday Night Football" on ABC. Did anyone see it? It shows Nicollette Sheridan, wearing only a towel, seducing Philadelphia Eagles receiver Terrell Owens to skip the game for her. The controversey is due to the housewife being white and the football player being black.
I saw a replay of part of it today on TSN. The Federal Communications Commission received complaints about it being offensive. There is a lot of cracking down on broadcast radio and television stations for explicit sexual discussions and content that are aired when children are likely to be watching or listening. Do you think it's being blown out of proportion due to the recent Kobe court case?
