Also looking for a set of R7 TPs or 05 TP Forged. Would consider other TP sets as well. Can buy outright or possibly make a partial trade with some equipment.

You may want to advise your friend to reconsider the price on those '05 TP's....$700 seems a bit on the high side. More in line would be $450/$500 considering what's out there now.

More in line would be $450/$500 considering what's out there now.Although I feel it is up to the interested party to decide if a price is in line, I will offer an example from ebay for a set of these irons (with Rifle 6.0). $572.56 Cdn, then 12% duty and shipping. This comes to $696.83 Cdn. This is pretty close to my friend's price except his look to be in nicer shape.

I don't disagree at all, and am with you on the condition as they are in excellent shape.....but the thing is, you can find sets for around $500 and that was my only point.

Not to take side but Racmbs is right. You are right GolfGarage, it is to your friend to decide how much he wants to sell his clubs but you also have to realize that most guys here have ways to get the clubs without paying extra taxes and duty etc... so you can't decide that the cost has to be factored in!

Just remember, Racmbs was just trying to help you and your friend.

Also note that BigJohnny is an experience buyer, he has 10 trades on TGN and 131 on the Ottawa site...

What shaft is actually in the Burner TPs? Your reply just says X-flex.

sorry, the shaft in the burner TP's is the REAX 75 X.

Thanks to all of those that have responded with their offers. A little update:

Driver: Still looking. Really interested in a R7TP or R5TP. And ideally, 10.5* is the loft of preference.
Fwy Wds: Pretty sure I found what I'm looking for.
Hybrids: Found a Rescue Dual TP.
Irons: Found some TP MBs w/ PXs.
Wedges: Found some RAC TP Blacks.

So if anyone can help me with my driver search, then everything will be complete and ready to roll for the upcoming season. :D

It's a personal thing. I just prefer to have one brand in the bag. I know it's just a mental thing, but I like having one brand because the clubs usually look similar, feel similar and play similar. Just adds confidence to my game.

oh trust me g...i think the same way..i have cally driver, 3 wd, 5 wd, fusion irons and x forged gap and sand wedge.....but if i change one element...i take a long time to go all the same OEM. You work your ho line 24 hrs a day and voila....all the same. amazing.
