She's the VJ of the LPGA tour!!! 8th win of the year for her and in exciting fashion. Watched a bit of it on the Golf Channel today, too bad, missed the playoff. Too bad, Kerr couldn't pull off a great weekend. Bogey free for 44 holes, plus she's HOT...hehe...good to see Annika dominating though..she's been playing so solidly all year long and for so many years in a row.

I would say she's more the Tiger of the LPGA tour than the VJ....VJ only is #1 this year.....while both Tiger and Annika were/have been #1 forever....:)

I'm talking about this year specifically...stop referring to history Ego Woods, I'm talking about the present...VJ is #1, Annika is #1...VJ and Annika both have 9 and 8 wins this year respectively...I understand there is a rivalry between you and I...but please lets not make every post a VJ vs Tiger issue...we all kow who's #1 RIGHT NOW!! ...thanks...:nono:  :D

keke, I'm just saying that VJ is far from where Annika is right now at this stage of their careers.....don't get too offended Mr. Singh :hyper:

It is unfortunate that Annika and the LPGA lags behind the men as far as media coverage is concerned. She is a tremendous talent and clearly, like Vijay, the golfer of the year.

Chiantbro,
Clearly an understatement. I played a charity event a couple of years back in Houston. There were several ladies from the LPGA at the event. They definately have game. A fellow in our group was heard to say in the parking lot, that he would try not to laugh each time he told our partner "your away". By the third hole we were trying not to laugh at him (one other member of our foursome had told her the story) as she, with great humour, kept asking him if he wanted her to play first.
She played some of the most wonderful shots I've seen. Nope she did not hit any 300 + bombs. But from 170 in it was a wonder to watch. Next time there's an LPGA event close go watch it you won't be disappointed.
