There was a thread about this exact same article about 6-8 months ago and if I remember correctly, there were a lot of neat stories TGNers posted about him.

Apparently someone once referred to Moe Norman as an idiot savante somewhere on paper. Moe Norman scratched out 'idiot'. What a guy!

Im new to the game and I dont think you have to immitate his swing to appreciate what he's done for the game....the kind of story that leaves you wanted more...he was a great character and a great ball striker.

Moe was truly amazing ball striker....He should be in the World golf hall of fame!

Hardly recognized him in that picture which looks like it was taken just before he passed away. Looks like a nice read.

after reading that, I dug up all I could find on the guy,quite a character,loved all the stories I found about him.

I have a book (Tim OConnor) and video on Moe - havent looked at in years if anyone wants to borrow (little sentimental - I bought them for my late brother after I introduced him to Moe at the 95 Cdn Open. For a change Moe was fairly confident and friendly).
