I understand your point - makes sense. Most websites are there to promote the new stuff. Sad but true.:(

http://www.taylormadegolf.comOne of the worst golf sites I have seen in a long time. Almost impossible to navigate.

Carson you are so on top of a sore spot with me re that site. You posted exactly what i have thought.
I always had a hate on for TM despite an old r540 that was one of the best drivers in its time for me. I hate too frequent product cycles like the burner which has what?70 models?
But i recently gave up. They make good stuff. To hate em for the good stuff at frequent rate is wrong.
So getting a new driver and three wood i had been going thru their site with ease to decide what to get. Finding current and old stuff and specs.

But then...suddenly a week or so ago.... a TM screw thingy is showing...and glowing...and glowing green..then glowing red etc etc.
My god! Takes a good 20 seconds or so just to get into the site? Cool first time...sooooooo irritating the second. Then i noticed burner specs that were there before are gone. then i have to listen to justin rose talking endlessly while i fumble around waiting for screens to load with so much graphics...my isp is not quick enough to load.

Worst site ever devised..i even emailed about it...to them but likely no reply...none yet.

I just came off the site. It took me nine minutes to join and go through the driver custom fitting section. Recommended was the 9.5* Tour Burner with a "S" Diamana Whiteboard 65.

BTW, I am no computer afficianado.

Have you guys written to TM complaining about the site. You might want to.

^ that'd be a good idea.. maybe suggest that they should make a low bandwith site for users that don't want to deal with all the fluff in the new site..

What is everyone worried about?

It's Taylormade, they'll have a new and improved one that's longer and straighter released in less than 6 months :D

It is not that tough if you use a little intuition.

It is difficult to navigate for certain. It's also a nightmare for anyone using a browser with an assistive device for anyone with a disability. Either way, I gave up looking for what I was hoping to find on it. it also won't run properly on my firefox in linux yet it'll work just fine on firefox on my mac.

this new Taylor site reminds me of a marketing ploy that Loblaws and other food retailers used years ago . They used to box in the end of the aisle on either side with merchandise to slow down the traffic and prevent a quick exit. This was meant to contain you in the aisle and hopefully you'd pick up another item.
