This is for all the hockey fans here at GolfNuts. Who has a prediction regarding the length of the current lock-out? I am not encouraged by the lack of progress between the sides and feel that the season is done and, at best, hockey will not return until next September.:( Any thoughts?

I think for sure the season is a lost....I also think it's quite possible that next season will be affected as well......:mad:

Any word on that World Hockey Association that a few groups are trying to start up?

I heard that the lockout could last until January of 2006 if things aren't resolved by January 2005. All together this SUCKS!! Neither the owners or players union are trying to resolve the issues. Some players are getting frustrated and want to renogiate the new agreement but because of the union they can't. I think the owner's are doing the right thing though. They're trying to protect the league and we all know salary capping works. The NFL and NBA are good examples of it.
