According to a friend who works at Golftown, sales of the Callaway Fusion drivers are below Callaway's expectations.

If this is true, there are taking quite a gamble that the fusion irons will be a good sell.

I was very intrigue when the Fusion drivers first came out, but after reading a couple reviews in some golf magazines regarding the product, I was turned off by it....there were a couple drivers that were ranked above it, and were considerably cheaper than the $650 that Golf Town was charging for most of the season....this may have lead to lagging sales for Callaway's driver......either that, or everyone was waiting for the R7..:D ...sales are red hot for these drivers...
