Ever wonder what happened to the PGA Tour checking the COR of the drivers players used in competition?

TW was never in the top ten in driving distance before. Check now.

Did the PGA have the mustard to squash this story?

FRom what I know, they only check the COR on a players driver if the rules officials receive a complaint from a fellow competitor. As for Tiger, his driving accuracy has been all over the map since 2001, I think he sits almost at the bottom of the list this year with power house Scott Hend and John Daly.

Tom Pernice Jr. questioned something about Tiger's driver last year, and it was looked into. Tiger said he was happy to have it checked out, but I'd love to see the interaction between him and Pernice in the clubhouse now.

I read in a recent golf magazine that Tom Pernice is a d**k accoding to a caddy poll....

At the same time, the words is that Phil is a fake, while Tiger and Vijay are cordial and nice towards their fellow pros.

I think it was great VJ called out lefty in the Masters re his metal cleats.

Theres never been a Phil that I liked. That incident where he yelled at fans for looking for his ball is exactly the same as the BBIV incident. And as the rules official noted on BBIV, he MUST look for that ball. Phil was being an a$$. I can totally see players saying his treatment of other tour pros has a fake manner about it.

I never did hear why Tiger and Phil hate each other so much.

I really enjoy VJ's personality lately. He's just enough pro and just enough personable. Tiger could be a wee bit more personable but seems great off the course. I guess you do whatever gets the job done for YOU.

Funnily enough, Tom Pernice was the ONE guy I talked to 'between shots' (hole #10) when he played at the BCO @ Glen Abbey (5 years ago)

...also chatted with the then-struggling Robert Gamez, who was also very friendly.

Jesper Parnevik is another friendly pro, and I've found PHIL more approachable than guys like WEIR, FURYK, APPLEBY, ALLENBY, GOOSEN, LOVE, HOWELL, and others, but I think it also depends WHEN & WHERE (The BCO is AFTER all the Majors, and if they 'make the cut', there's less grind/pressure per se)
