Would TV coverage of all tour golf be benefited by prime time replay?

In summer I could easily be golfing rather than watching golf coverage on TV. With this weeks tour championship airtime being much earlier than normal, many players will miss coverage while out golfing taking advantage of daylight and this crazy warm unseasonal weather.

Thoughts?

I've often thought of that myself and the two main reasons I've come up with for them to not replay is:
-demographics. There will be more people watching 60 minutes, AHFV's or whatever the networks have showing during Prime Time than golf coverage. They will probably get more commercial money for those shows than golf events.
-the "live" aspect of sporting events. It's easy to find out results after an event is over and rebroadcasting it or even showing it taped will probably not generate the same atmosphere of a live event

I never have a problem with tv times for the PGA Tour events. I always play early on weekends. The only event I miss is The Open Championship.

I doubt if we'll ever see Prime Time Replay due to the fact that Prime Time demands a lot more money for commercials.

Set your VCR/DVD recorder and go golfing:) Watch it when you get home. Or play earlier and then get some brownie points because you are home by noon and can spend the rest of the day with your family, while recording the golf of course!
