i agree with you. i won't be watchin her show. esp. if it is a 'reality show' following her and here TPT exploits.

i would watch a show hosted by Frank Thomas, former equipment chief at the USGA if he were talkin' 'bout/reviewing/testing the latest offerings by component and oem mfrs.

She's kinda cute, but no supermodel. She can play, but she's not at the same level as Annika or Christie Kerr or even Paula Creamer for that matter.

OTOH, there are a number of people on other golf forums who have met Natalie in person and all have agreed she is very nice, personable and fan-friendly. She just seems to be universally well-liked by all - fans, media and other tour players - so maybe the TV format suits her better than other LPGA players. I guess we'll find out.

BTW, great to see you posting again QB.:) You've been kinda quiet lately.

I think there will be so many reruns of the show and you are a TGC regular viewer, you won't be able to escape seeing it.

May be she can show the viewers the trailer park where she was raised and introduce the viewers to her first and second and third cousin, who also happens to be her uncle/brother in law and prospective future husband.
Congrats to her in convincing the brass at TGC and in finding the niche demographics who will watch her show and buy her calendar.

Who watched the NG Show tonight? I could have sworn at one point that I was watching part of the Trailer Park Boys show!!

Personally I don't think I'll watch many (if any more) of these 'cause how much can you watch someone talk about themselves for 30mins each week? Booooooooooooooooooring!

He was laughing at the fact that during the Nabisco tournament, he got tired by the 7th hole and took a bike off some kid on the street and decided to follow Natalie by bike on the course before the marshalls escorted him off. Not sure if Natalie was more embarrassed when the dad and a friend were laughing it up but then she chimed in like it didn't matter to her.

Seriously! I turn to the golf channel and see this guy that looked like a wannabe biker, living lavishly in a sweet looking house, I was like, i don't remember turning to Showcase. Kinda felt odd every time someone went nuts over her. With the right lighting etc she sometimes looks cute, other times with hair down in her sweats, looks kinda odd.

I saw a promo for the Natalie Gulbis show Season Two.

I think it is either on tonight or tomorrow.

You will see the new and improved Gulbis. Gone are the days of bad hair and buttah face. The new Gulbis is sleeker and more polished (well, appearance wise anyway).

I used to be a detractor due to the hair and buttah face, but I am ready to drink the Kool-Aid....
