Just wondered who you all think is the best young golfer in competition right now. This player can be male or female and local or international. You can also include older golfers who had great rookie seasons at the start of their career. ;)

Locally, I would say Gajan Sivabalasingham (http://www.torontogolfnuts.com/showthread.php?t=252) or the young 15 year old kid who won the Canadian Amateur and also played in the BCO this year.

On Tour, Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia,

Must have Michelle Wie up there too.

Hmmm...can't really think of anyone else off the top of my head right now.

For sure Michelle Wie, and because I heard about Sivabalasingham from this site, he sounds pretty awesome... and a Canadian! He's got my vote :)

Ryan Moore, 2004 Men's US Amateur Champion.

"Moore, a rising senior at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, is the first player to ever win the U.S. Public Links and U.S. Amateur in the same year, and one of only four males to win two U.S. Golf Association events in the same year. In the latter category, Moore joins Chick Evans (1916 U.S. Amateur, U.S. Open), Bobby Jones (1930 U.S. Amateur, U.S. Open) and Jay Sigel (1983 U.S. Amateur, U.S. Mid-Amateur). "

This also includes a win at the NCAA Championships last May and a win in Western Amateur and US Public Links for 2004.

I should also include Luke Donald who is already on the European Tour. He's a great young golfer, and I'd like to see him more on the PGA tour, I think he'd do pretty well......
