so if they decide to have golf at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic games, what format of golf do you suggest they have?

It's been tried before but for some reason they won't allow it, Greg Norman tried to push it once. If they did have it, just have a 2 day tourney, singles, very simple.

from what i read, they are pushing very hard for it as a demonstration sport in china...and possibly an official one in 2012...

I definately hope they add Golf to the Olympics...not only is golf so popular, its a good sport to add...better than Ballroom Dancing or shooting those clay discs...Match Play format for sure!!! Wouldn't want stroke play, it would become an individual goal and less exciting...we could also probably predict the winner in stroke play too...Match play would let underdogs have a better chance.

I heard that golf is competing with Wushu (Chinese martial arts) for a spot at the Beijing olympics.

I definitely prefer having golf. How many countries are going to send a representative for Wushu:confused:
