I am interested in setting up a rules of golf seminar to enlighten players about more than the basic rules of golf.
I'd like it to be weekend scheduled so the working class (me) can attend as I feel its important and benefitial to be well versed in the proper rulings.

If your interested, PM or email me and I'll make some calls in the new year to see about an instructor.

I have a guy in mind but it'll take a bit to get in contact with him. If you know someone who would be well suited for this job you could make the call yourself or send me the contact info and I'll do it.

Obviously the more people interested in attending the less it'll cost per person.

Provincial golf associations regularly offer Rules seminars:

I don't know what degree of knowledge is needed for a "Level 3" class, but I'm sure you could contact someone at the Golf Association of Ontario and they will be glad to point you to someone locally in your area that could help out.

I should also point out that the OttawaGolf site has an RCGA Rules Official (Gary Hill) moderating the Rules section of their forum. While he may not may able to give a seminar in the GTA, you can always post questions there and be assured that his answers will be correct.

I just recently attended a golf scholership seminar which was held at Wooden Sticks by the GAO and it was great.

what was 'great'? the food served by WS? the free drinks? the knowledgable lecturer? the enthusiastic sponsors and foundation executives?

All the rules of golf discussion/seminars I have been part of typically got reduced to debate about to what degree weekend golfers ought to observe the rules of golf.

I am not that serious about golf.
