Craziest swing (I've ever seen)!

After posting my swing to this forum last week, I decided that in order for me to learn more about what's happening (and how to fix it) I needed to see it in slo-mo... so I wanted to purchase a camera that could make it happen.

While looking for slow-motion video samples on You Tube, I came across this swing (that I just had to share, enjoy)..

however my one buddy has the craziest swing ever.. well maybe not the swing itself, but the setup.. if you see it its good for a laugh every time.

I did decide on a camera. Casio seems to be the only brand that offers (functional) high speed shooting at the consumer level. They have four models with this capability, and after doing the research (bit of a nerd that way), I decided on the "cheapest". The one I chose is called the "Exilim EX-FS10". In my opinion, it's a little spendy (@ $369 cdn) because the "still" photo quality of (all) Casio cameras is mediocre at best (again, just my opinion).

That being said, the high speed video (and size) is second to none, which really is the only reason I purchased it. If you were to "step-up" to one of the three more expensive models, you would get a few more features and (in the two top models) slightly better photo quality due to their larger lenses, but the high speed video will be identical.

Without getting too "tech'y", the sensor size and processing engine, from what I can see, is exactly the same for all four models.

Overall, the slo-mo (best at 210 fps, useless at 1000 fps), and size are what did it for me. I'm fortunate to already have a fantastic SLR and "Point & Shoot" camera... so I wasn't too worried about the "still" image quality. I will however, likely take this camera with me most places, because it really is small (smaller than my Blackberry), and even though it doesn't take the "greatest" photos... the best camera is usually the one you have with you.

Below is the one I purchased, as well as a "Gorilla Pod". The "Gorilla Pod" (about $25) will be used to attach the camera to something in my golf bag, in order to steady it while shooting. Should work out to be a good combo .
