Will Ernie Els bounce back after injury and play like a top 5 golfer? Win a Major or two?

I like Ernie. And was sad to see him experiencing knee problems last year. However, he still had some wins at the Dubai Desert Classic, BMW Asian Open, and Qatar Masters.
He made seven birdies in his last round at the SA Airways open. He was swinging the club well and hitting the ball well. The most important thing is he seems confident and comfortable with his game. So I believe that he will be back in contention in the PGA tour for 2006. Go Ernie! And good luck at the Qatar Masters this year!

He'll bounce back for sure.....just recently he went head-to-head with the Goose at the South African Open. Down by 3 or so going into the final round and had caught Goosen only to lose by one on the 72nd hole. He was looking pretty good....

No doubt in my mind that he will be a contender again!

I see Ernie doing very well. He's so cool tempered and precise in his play.

I'll go out on a limb and say he wins a MAJOR in 2006 :) He has way too much talent not to be a contender again.
I read an article where he stated he is much stronger in the upper body now. While his knee rehabed he worked on his upper body strength. Now that could be downright scary as he was long to begin with, he could be even longer off the tee now.
I think Ernie figures he has some unfinished business to take care of in 2006.

Damn right he will and I will say right now that he will win a Major this season. Not sure which one but I would like to see him win the Masters, though I think the British is more likely. He's too talanted to be setback by his knee injury. Besides, he's already won since coming back and has showed that he has overcome his injury.
