The annual LONDON GOLF & TRAVEL SHOW will be held at the Western Fair Grounds from Feb 10 -12.

Information is available at

www.golf-show.com (http://www.golf-show.com)

By the way, I read there was no demo area for clubs at the Hamilton show. I know last year there was a demo area for Nike, then other manufacturers had a demo area.

Not sure if Golftown will be there, or Nevada Bobs. I do not go to buy equipment. I will wait for the Annual FGO Golf Sale for that.

But it is a good place to go if you are looking for info on golf vacations, etc. I find it a good way to kill some time, run into some people I know and see how fat we all got over the winter

Last year this event wsa a bust (As I wasn't looking to travel) I would assume this will be very similar to the Hamilton show which is not getting great reviews.

Well it is not the most exciting golf show you could attend! Like I said I do not go there to buy clubs, I have got some good deals on shirts there in the past years. Also some discount coupons for rounds of golf at various courses in this area.
As I said, my big show is the FGO Sale in March, that is where to go for clubs, etc

It seems that Nevada Bobs will be at the event. I always go and then check out Bob Martins after, since their big sale is the same weekend. However last year's show was a bust, and not 100% on going this year. The RCGA stuff sounds cool with the CN Ladies stuff there, but last year's demo turnout stunk. It's a toss-up.

Slight OT, but how is the FGO event these days? I haven't been for a long time, what kinds of deals do they have on putters, irons etc? Is it worth my drive from London?

Well let me put it this way, if you golf and you miss the FGO SALE then you are missing one of the BIGGEST SALES EVENTS IN ONTARIO, perhaps all of Canada for that matter! It is HUGE, 6 days of sales with bargains galore. Last year I think there was 5000 + people go through the front doors of that sale.

I know of some forged irons that will be going at a great price, Last year there was a lot of new and used irons to be had, putters too. Shoes, gloves etc etc. I will post the details of the sale a week before the opening day.

It is worth the drive from London.

Owners also told me about these irons, and at this price, it's worth the drive from Brantford. I've also been told about a lot of other things including bags, balls (Referbished ProV's are going to be HIGHLY reduced), irons, and woods. Not sure about shoes though. I would assume great deals on those too, just haven't heard anything. This is at the top of this list for my "off season sales".

THIS SALE IS SO BIG I AM BOOKING OFF THE FIRST DAY OF IT FROM WORK. I am dayshift that day and I want to be there when the doors open :D There has always been shoes there in the past so I would imagine there will be shoes again this year. Golf bags, tons of them and this I know for sure because I helped unpack some yesterday at the store.

When is this sale set to begin? 31 here needs some new fairway woods and this sounds like a great opportunity, especially since FGO caters to lefties like me. :D
