Alright I am a first time poster but have been reading this forum for a few days and am already finding it helpful so thanks for that. Anyway I am 21 and am interested in taking the Professional Golf Course Management Course at Humber College (September 2007). I am looking into getting on a mini tour this year and am wondering what you guys recommend. I have heard of the Great Lakes Tour and was thinking about that but I don't really know of any others. I will also be joining the GAO Public Players this year again however I have not played in any of those tournaments and am wondering what they are like. I would like to play in some tournaments to build up my golf resume. I checked into the CJGA because I use to be on that when I was a Jr. and I remember it going up to 26 but of course when I want to get back into it they changed the age limit to 19. I live in Milton Ontario but am willing to do some driving. Any suggestions you guys might have would be great! -Thanks-

Check out the Grass Roots Tour. The owners are on the board here and the majority of the tournaments are on the west side of Toronto.

PM Grass Roots Tour here on the board. Will is a great and friendly guy.

The Great Lakes tour will be offering amatuer events this year. Also there is the city championships at the different municipal courses throughout Toronto in August.

FYI ... Your going to have to decide if you'd prefer to play weekdays or weekends b/c GLT plays weekdays Grass Roots Tour plays weekends. The GRT is also a lot cheaper. We include greens fees, carts, and range in entry fees.

Don't forget about The Duffer's Dream Tour. check out the website for more info.

We also offer a Weekday Tour that plays every other Monday and the Weekend Tour plays every other Saturday. And you can switch between Tours depending on your schedule.
