I am interested in applying to Humber College for Professional Golf Course Management September 2007 and am wondering if anyone on there goes to the school or has been through the program. If so would I get some feed back on it? I don't know anyone who had taken it and I really don’t know how it is. I am interested in per sewing a Golf Professional position and teaching someday. Thanks for any advice you have.

I actually prefer the Lakeshore campus. The neighbourhood is a bit dry but the campus is nice, small and easy to get to. I'm not there for the school life so I just want in and out of campus with less hassle. Lakeshore is perfect for me.

I lived in the area until a few months ago. i'm speaking of lakeshore it self, the community, the area it sucks.... best decision to move out of the door..

Watch out for the co-ops just east of the campus..

- The program is NOT a free ride, so keep that in mind.

- I think only about 60% (?) of those that start the 3 year program actually stick it out til the end. It's not all about golf - the focus is on Business Management.

- Lakeshore Campus is fine.

- Have you got any previous experience in the golf industry?

PM me if you like.

Another option, Fanshawe College in London is offering this course in 2007. I am sure they are, they had a display at the London Golf Show.
Fanshawe is a great facility, there is plenty of night life in London. If you don't mind moving away from home this might be another option for you to look into.

Stay away for Fanshaw, it is not a program that you want to walk into in it's first year! Go to somewhere that is more established like either Humber or Georgian!
