Hey Guys,

As most of you know im 16 years old and play out of hidden lake golf club in burlington. Ive been there for 3 years and am slowing losing my taste for it as i play 170 rounds/year. I know a few people at rattlesnake and would love to join. My Dad has a really good friend whos been a member there for quite some time and my dad friend is going to try and get me in.

Do you see this happening or will they shut me down? Is there a way to play there as a junior without paying the whole 75 G's? Any other way to get in there without working there because my buddy had a job there and said they would let him play like once a week and he had to work alot for it.

Thanks
Mike

I'm not sure how the membership works but I know sometimes you get a sponsor say your dad's friend who can "vouch" for you. They may have some kind of jr rate if you have a sponsor. I had some friends who worked at Rattle Snake and some friends who worked at Gray Stone and they could not golf as much as I think you would like. There tee times are very restricted for staff. I think each course had about 2 or 3 staff times first thing in the morning and 2 or 3 staff times around 4pm and that all depends on how busy they are. They may not have any.

Ya I hear ya. I use to work at Granit Ridge. I didn't like working there all that much I had a few issues with some of the staff there and what not. I stayed there beacuse I could golf when I wanted. I would just come up as a single and get off no problem unless there was a tourny.
