in what area are you looking to join a course? Toronto is a big place and we dont ALL live in TO either.

GRT is right, which area of the GTA are you in? Also, how much do you want to spend? and is it just for the 2006 year or are you joining a course for long term?

there are some other threads that talk about golf course membership as well, might try a search on that as well.

I am looking in the surrounding area of the GTA say within 60 kms of 401/400 orQEWand 427 looking for a weekday membership (walking) in the 2000-2500 per year range,perferablly with practice facilities on site and included.

phesant run.....$2500 i believe, includes range use, but not cart.....you can find many courses with memberships around that, and even cheaper aswell......just do a search on yahoo or google for golf courses and go through their websites.

Glen Eagle is around that price for a weekday - has a LOT of tournaments.Hunter's Glen is under $2000 for weekday - you may get bored with that course.
