Ok, Im looking for something like cheque books at restaurants but smaller. Something like a little leather kinda book that WILL fit in my back pocket so I can keep notes on the holes when i play practice rounds for tournaments, all the little stats (greens, fairways, putts etc..) and then a scorecard..

Something like a restaurant book, leather, must be able to open etc....

Anyone know where to get one?

thanks
Gligster

You need Intelligolf and a palm pilot :D

I use it and LOVE it ... great for keeping as much or as little detail as you wish... can also support GPS.

Mike, try Frid and Russell in Oakville. They are a large office supply wholesaler. It's possible they may have something similar; just describe what you're looking for.

Henry has these great books exactly what your looking for, its simply a custom yardage book exactly what the pros use. you draw the outline of the hole in the middle room for notes about the hole or either side. unfortunately i don't seem him again until next wednesday but I could ask him where he got them or grab a few extras for yea and send them out to yea? Sound good?

I have a book for keeping information for post round records. It is an "offical" PGA score book from Tiffanys. It has the "lite" rules of golf and a two page section to make note of the holes, strokes, GIR, FIR, Putts, Birdies, Par and Bogies per round.
Not what you are looking for, but a very nice way to keep your records.

I checked out this store in Oakville close to my work. It's called house of Kangaroo. They had some nice score card holders there, and nice gloves too.
I was speaking with the sales lady there and I mentioned TGN. She says they could prolly give us a deal if we get enough buyers for gloves and/or leather card holders or any of their KANGAROO leather items .They seem to be willing.

Apparantly, the owner used to be a pro golfer, Canadian tour I think.
anyways, I've got his info..........if one of the Administrators wants to run with this, PM me. You never know. He maybe our next new sponsor.

The gloves are really nice, so are the card holders. :D

I bought one of these last year. It is a high quality product, however, I am a Clublink member and I had to cut our scorecards to fit the wallet.

I've met Paul, the owner of House of Kangaroo. He is a very industrious hard working guy. I commented on a previous thread what great golf gloves he has in his shop/showroom.

He is also a sponsor of survivafootball.com.

At the store the tag said $40 +tax for the holder. they have it in suede too.
and I think 4 coulors. I bought a glove from them $22 .It's suppposed to be mor durable and resistant to hardening blah blah blah. We'll see if if stands up to my sweaty palms.:)

I saw leather scorecard holders at Pheasant Run a few weeks back, plus the usual assortment of yardage books, notepads, etc. The scorecard holder was going for $40, I believe. I recall that the leather goods were embossed, but I'm not certain whether they were customized for Pheasant Run or with the manufacturer's logo.

They were in the showcase to the left of the pro shop counter.
