...and fantastic Birdie on 17, considering where his tee shot ended up!!

He has had some trouble making cuts, but when he does T-3 qnother top 10 and 4 top 25s. With $457K, absent a total collapse he is pretty much guaranteed to keep his tour card. Now he can focus on that first win. Go for it Graham.

As a point of reference, $600k was good enough to make the top 125 at the end of last year.

I think to be safe, the # to aim for is 850K.

2008 - 125 was $852,752
2007 - 125 was $785,180

In 2007, Brett Quiqley thought his 717K was enough to keep his card, decided to go to surgery and shut the year down. He ended at 130.

$600k = 100% Q school.

Just watched his finish as i prvd the tourney. the last couple holes were just brilliant. the putts were icing on the cake. this guy is the real deal. nice to have a fresh young cdn to root for that actually has a chance.

Four incredibly steady rounds and the way he handled 17 & 18 yesterday shows that he has the mental toughness to make him a true professional....!

Clutch putts on 17 and 18. Didn't looked rattled one bit.

I'm surprised no one is on here complaining about his lay up on 18??? :hush: Now all of a sudden it's alright.

Two great showings by Canadians... DeLaet with a T-3 and the other getting a good chunk of the winner cheque. Kim's caddie I believe is a Canadian out of New Brunswick who played college golf with him.

I was wondering why Kim is being sponsored by RBC....could that be the connection possibly?!?

Also, couldn't believe how badly Taylor tanked...he saved his 4 worst shots of the day for that extra hole.

I wonder if he's gonna wear the Red & White EVERY Sunday!!??

I think I am going to steal his style. Nothing says canada more than the red and white.

Unless he decided to wear a toque.

Nice to have a Canadian who can BOMB it on Tour....and the posted sheet said he was #1 in sand saves.
So he can bomb it and is good around the greeen - how nice.

I don't like the back and forth between the long and short putter though.

^ I am glad GD switched to the regular putter, since I despise the belly or longer putters. How about those 2 putts he roled on 17 & 18, eh? Those 2 putts made him a LOT of $$$. I suspect that kind of success may give him the confidence to stick with the regular putter. I hope so.

Btw, have you ever seen anyone switch putters like Figjam? Now he's used more putters then any tour player I've ever seen.

TW never seems to switch (putters anyway)... maybe that's why he's so good.

I was wondering why Kim is being sponsored by RBC....could that be the connection possibly?!?

RBC sponsorship has nothing to do with the nationality of his caddy but everything to do with their expansion plans into the US. You will have noticed that most of the Canadian banks have changed their names to their initials (eg RBC, BMO, TD, CIBC, etc). This was a specific strategy to shield the fact that they were 'Canadian' as they went about their acquisition spree in the US. As they have all gobbled up regional banks in the US, I can guarantee you that the average person on the street down there hasn't the slightest idea that the acquiring financial institution is a foreign entity. Just clever positioning......!

Great to see another Canadian doing well. BTW.....what's going on with Jon Mills.....he can't get his game to PGA standards?

Been away awhile, I just wanted to say I'm glad to finally see delaet on camera after trying to watch him for nearly four tournaments. A buddy of mine played junior golf with him in SK.

Yes he is. His top 10 for Houston got him in this week.
