Did anyone read about Element 21, a new Canadian Club maker is paying the Russian Space Agency to have a Russian Astronaut hit a 6 iron and gold plated golf ball in space? It is a cool publicity stunt and the ball is expected to travel almost 3 billion KMs.

I actually have an interview with Element 21's President this weekend which I will post for those interested.
Some of the article is here: http://www.golflogic.ca/golf-blog/2006/03/07/golf-ball-in-space/

Given the absence of reachable hazards, why lay up with a 6 iron?
