I've been looking into Par Golf Camps. Have you ever tried their lessons? Or know of someone that has? Their newest adult camp location is Ultimate Golf Centres at Vaughn. This location offers 9 holes, a large driving range and short game facilities. Eaglequest is located in Vaughn, minutes from Highways 400 & 7. The World Class Driving Range features contoured fairways and elevated bent grass greens. The Championship Par 3 Course features bent grass greens and white sand bunkers. The short game area features a 7000 sq. ft. putting green. Eaglequest has quickly earned the reputation as one of Canada's best teaching facilities.

I have never been there nor do I know anyone that has, but that looks like a great deal for a 6-8 hour day. Short game and putting will never hurt anybody.

So what exactly do you get for the money? Is the entire time filled with instruction? It seems very expensive for one day. I'd rather take several private lessons for the same amount of money.

I agree seems pricy......better shop around. My 2 cents :)

I also heard included in your lessons are a round of golf with a pro. He/she shows you how to course manage and club select. Thats probably the expensive part.

Par Golf Camps have adult and junior lessons at more than one location. In addition to the Vaughn location adult camp has a location at Banty's Roost Golf & CC. Jr. camps have a location at Annandale Golf & CC. The lesson includes work on basic swing elements, short game, and there are on-course playing lessons. Also includes use of their facilities. Facilities include practice fairway, piching/chipping, putting greens and their teaching facility. In your opinion...is it better to space out half hour or 1 hour lessons over 2 months or is boot camp better with full day lessons?

IMO, I think you can benefit more by spacing out your lessons so you don't overload in info and so you have time inbetween lessons to work on what you've been taught. Your body needs time to adjust to new swings etc. Can't do everything in one day. But I would like full day lessons that only teach you one or two things and you work on that the entire time. Camps are like that I believe. Good luck.
