haha ok so that's not what this thread is about. But I thought I'd give you some insight into his character. :p

The real question I want to ask my fellow torontogolfnuts is "Do you think Todd Hamilton will have another great year following last years accomplishments?" He won the Honda Classic and the British Open in his rookie year and finished at 11th on the money list. Was it just a fluke? Or do you see a determined & talented player? What do you predict for him in 2005?

I think Hamilton will be here and there but don't expect another Major. I predict maybe 1 win this year and maybe a few top 10 finishes. Nothing big.

Golfers would like to think that they are as good as their best games, but it isn't so. Likewise we are not as bad as our bad games.

Todd had a better than average year in '04 so it is logical that his 2005 will not be as good. I hope that I am wrong.

Hamilton's been around for a long time. He had a fairly successful career on the JPGA. I think he'll settle into the top 50 on the money list. I think he's good for a win this year.

Good point about Hamilton having less popularity if he hadn't had won the British, but thats exactly what you get for winning a Major though. Publicity, popularity and $$$. Well deserved but honestly, can't see him up there.

Hamilton didn't look to stellar near the end of the season and at the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. Granted it was only a two day tournament, but shooting +1 for the two days, while Mickelson, Singh, and Goosen shot something like -17, -12 and -11 kinda looks like he didn't belong.

I remember reading an article on him. He seems very modest, he went back to his old college and some guy thought he looked familiar in the restroom. He kept saying that the guy must be mistaken because he doesn't go to the college anymore, but when the person kept insisting, that's when he asked "Do you watch golf?"

Hamilton looks like a down to earth nice guy. Someone that is modest and doesn't have a big ego. hahaha...but don't get me wrong now. I'm not saying he's my type. I don't go for married men! ;)
