A lot of seroius golfers from TGCDB are talking up these balls available at Walmart. $9.00 us for 18 balls. They are getting some comparison to some pretty hi-end balls. Only problem is Kingpar does not seem to want to submit them for USGA approval. If your not playing money events use them and have fun.
TiTech TiLo @ Walmart same ball can be found as Intech Limbo at other sporting goods outlets.

cheers, While it is extensive, here is the list of conforming golf balls. The named ball will not be on it, as it is smaller and heavier than what is deemed conforming. Balls can be larger than 1.68 inches in diameter, like the Topflite Magna, but not heavier than 1.62 ounces

cheers, Until they make the USGA list they are illegal. Most the folks in south U.S. that have been playing them say that these balls don't out perform, they just perform as well as some of the premium balls on the market. One person sent a email to Kingpar asking if they would be submitting them to the USGA. The answer they got back was not yet.
The people that are playing them have measured and weighed and found no difference from conforming balls. They are just currently not on the USGA's list of conforming. If you do a goggle serach on the TiTech TiLo or Intech Limbo you can find some reviews.
I found it amazing that a scratch, teaching pro, would switch from the HX Tour to these balls and actually admit he did.

most serious low cap, hard core players i know play either
titleist pro V or callaway blacks
i don't see why one would play a 50¢ ball
unless they lose a ball per hole
if such the case, there are used balls available

No need to yell Dormie, I can read. But wouldn't you be shocked if the guy telling you "your away" was playin' one.

Is it the Ti Ball you are suggesting Mule? Also, is there any reviews out there and something about them not being conforming?

Hey Mike,
It is the TiTech TiLo or the Intech Limbo. Both make other balls which are clearly marked on the packaging that they do not meet USGA requirements. Neither of these ball have that marking, but they are not on the USGA list of comforming balls.
There is a lot of postive feed back on the TGDB on these. There like disposable lighters. Once they served their purpose ya just toss'em. Trying doing that to your $7.00 ProV due to a tiny scuff mark.
