Shaft Weight vs Length

Curious to see peoples thoughts about shaft length vs weight.

Recently purchased a 3wood which is 43.5" long and has a 65g shaft. I am replacing it, but want to cut it at 43" even. Should I get the same shaft weight and risk the swing weight dropping a bit, or, should I get a slightly heavier shaft like 75g in hopes of keeping the swingweight the same.

You likely wont notice the swingweight difference. 1/2 inch shorter drops about 3 swingweight points.

Who ever is doing the work for you can and should be swing weighting the club for you as they are building it. Just ghive them the specs you want.
