Somebody PM'd me a VERY good question today and I will post my reply. I will withhold that person's identity and here goes:

Items required:

Butaned torch.
Needle Nose pliers
Drill
TM weights

Here's what you do:
-Heat up the two screws
(Make sure you don't heat up the plastic badge in the middle, otherwise, you'll have an EXTREMELY ugly looking N or D badge)
-take the needle nose pliers and twist it like you would a screw.

The screws should come right out. On the heel side, there is a weight sleeve which is epoxied in. You will have to drill this out. It will take some time and I advise you to heat it up first. Just drill it out but make sure the filings do not get in the head. If it does, inject a bit of rat glue so the filings doesn't cause a rattle. I got some BUT a tiny bit of rat glue fixed that. Clean out the thread area with a bit of acetone or whatever cleaner you want and VOILA. That's it. It'll now accept the TM weights and now has movable weight technology. The only differend as I pointed out was that it'll have a different hosel to accept .350 hosels.

This isn't exactly something I'll do if I have to buy a new club to achieve this (since the actual r5 tp with diamana shafts can be bought for $398 and not to mention, you get the weight kit and headcover) but it'll be good to try on your existing. ;)

Please post any questions here.

Excellent guide WB!

Now you just need to write up how to shim it so it sits square and R5 retail owners are set ;)

Shimming is okay but if you compare the standard N driver, I can almost say with certainty that it sits more square than the TP version.

Forgive my brain, hardly used and hardly working.

I was thinking R5 D.

Seen that same procedure on BSG.
