View Full Version : TAKE MY TM580 XD!! PLEASE!!!! LH LeftHand

Hi gang,

I've been a huge fan of this site and have decided to throw out a posting. I bought a brand new Taylor Made 580XD Left-Handed driver last year and can't hit it!

It's stock everything with headcover and stiff flex graphite shaft.

I watched my friend hit it a ton and figured, "If Bruno can do it...."

Well, guess what? Can't fix the slice so I've decided to invest in lessons instead. If I can recoup a least a bit of my money back, invest in lessons, it will have at least not been looked upon as a total loss.

What's a fair price?? I'm thinking about $150?? I bought it for $350 on sale and it's literally been hit about 5 rounds. No marks other than some bag against the shaft marks. No scuffs whatsoever on the head. It really does look new.

Loft and shaft flex would be useful info to add for prospective buyers.

Three things:

1) If I didn't already have a 580, I'd buy this one in a heart beat. It's a great club and the ball goes a ton. :eek:

2) You may want to keep it (even tho the money from the sale will go to paying for lessons). You'll probably find that you'll be able to hit it after the lessons. If you sell it now, you may kick yourself later.

3) You may also want to change the shaft to a regular. Your CPGA pro may determine that a stiff shaft doesn't go with your swing speed and he/she may suggest a regular shaft instead.

Thanks for all the tips, guys.

Having said all that, if I don't get what I want for it, I'll just keep the club. $150 ain't gonna make or break my bank. This club truly hits the ball a ton.

Anyway, it's a Stiff flex shaft with 9.5 loft.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the emails.
The response has been great...most have requested for pic's so here they are.
Many people have emailed me to ask me to hold the item for them, their friends, their mothers, etc...I will not be holding it for anyone.
First person to ask to meet up with cash in hand gets the club. Also, preference will be given to those that come to meet me in Scar.
